Hello, I’m Fredo! I’m a middle-aged Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a lot of personality and love to give! Some of my favorite activities include playing tug of war, belly rubs and hoarding all of my toys on my bed! I love going on walks and watching the world go by, though most of the time I prefer being a couch potato and getting snuggles from my favorite humans. Hiya, I’m Bandit! I’m a Pit Bull Terrier & Pointer mix who loves to be around people! I am actually the friendliest people dog at the AAO sanctuary. Hello, I’m Bruce Wayne (aka Batman)! I got my name because the people that rescued me don’t know what type of dog I am and they say I look like a bat with my big ears. I’m 6 years old but I’m a puppy at heart! I love playing with my toys and long walks, but really any adventure will do! I am Groot! I'm a loyal and loving five year old Rottie. I was taken in to AAO after I was left chained out in a yard when my owner got evicted. I was supposed to be rescued by another organization but they left me there because they were scared of me, and told my owner that they would pay them to put me down :( In reality I was the one who was scared. My AAO family says that I am a beautiful and lovely boy with lots of potential. I looove to romp around and play! My favorite toys are my ball and rope as I am always up for a game of fetch or tug of war. I also love to go for adventures, whether that is a long run, or even just an exciting walk. I'll be by your side protecting you and making sure you're never alone. While I have a lot of energy, I also like to relax and will happily cuddle up with you on the couch during a movie night. Currently, I am in a board and train program in Buffalo, NY, where I am told that I am being such a good boy for following commands. I love learning new things! While I cannot go to a home with cats or young children, I'm good with dogs, particularly females, and would do best in a home with older children, teenagers, and adults. All I want is to be in a home with a family where I can be loved for the rest of my life. Could that furever home be with you?

Hey, I'm Tommy! I am a calm, patient, easy-going 5 year old male Staffordshire Terrier Mix. I had a rough time before I became part of the AAO family as not only was I abandoned by my orginal owner, becoming one of the longest residents at an animal shelter in Rochester, but I was adopted for only a matter of hours after I thought I had found my furever home as my adopter claimed he did not have enough time for me :( Luckily, AAO stepped in, not wanting me to be failed for a third time, and secured a safe and loving home for me to decompress in. I am currently being fostered in Buffalo, NY as an only pup; the king of my temporary castle! I live in a home with two older children, whom I adore, and I am loving my new life! I love to show affection and there is nothing I would rather do more than snuggle up with my favourite humans. I am the ultimate companion: playful, protective, and charming. I am very gentle and love going on walks, exploring new places, and getting belly rubs while I roll around. While I do love people, I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I know basic commands, walk well on a leash and do not need to be crated when I am home alone as I just patiently wait for my people to return. I am loyal, loving, and eager to please...not to mention super hunky and healthy! Despite my heartbreaking past, I have always maintained my laid back, happy go lucky spirit, and calm, affectionate demeanor. Hiya I'm Miss Wiggles! I am a little lady with a huge heart and a whole lot of love to give to my furever family! I am estimated to be a Shar-Pei-Mix, weighing around 45 pounds, and between 2-3 years old. I love daily walks, cuddling, playing and lounging outside. My favorite summertime activity is splashing around in the kiddie pool and going to get ice cream! I am kennel trained and learning to walk well on a leash without getting nervous and barking at other dogs. After AAO took me in, I went to a board & train program to finetune my manners and now I am in a wonderful foster home in Buffalo, NY. even though I am a well-behaved young lady, my adopter will must practice and reinforce what I learned in "school". I get along with other dogs when introduced in a safe and slow manner, although my wiggles can be a little rambunctious for smaller and elderly dogs. I have had limited exposure to cats. I do not go after them, but sometimes I just wans to play and don't understand why they don’t. I love kids! I have been around kids 5-19 years old but due to being an energetic dog and just coming out of training I should only be around children who can help reinforce my good manners. I would do best in a stress-free home with a predictable schedule. I had a rough start to life growing up on the streets of Texas and bouncing around from shelter to shelter. I'm a little shy at first and need a family who will give me time to decompress before introducing me to new things. I do not have any allergies or health issues, I am spayed, and up to date on shots. Will you let me wiggle into your life?!

Tank is a very loyal boy. He wants to make sure his owner and home are safe. Meet and greets will be arranged. Once Tank is comfortable with you he loves to cuddle. He loves car rides, his squeeky balls and chew bones. He loves walks and is learning not to pull. He is house trained, he doesn't get into the garbage or chew on blankets or furniture.
